Building a future we’re proud of.
common-sense leadership. Midway values.
MEET IAN
As a native of Midway, Kentucky, Ian is guided by the values he learned from a young age: care for your neighbor, treat others with dignity and respect, and with hard work, anything is possible. He was raised by small business owners, is the grandson of a farmer, and a public servant, and now serves on Midway City Council. He ran for council because he wanted all voices to be at the table. Two years in, he's doing the work: fixing infrastructure, protecting Midway's integrity, and keeping the city's budget in check. And we’re just getting started.

IAN’S MISSION
Ian has a passion for helping people. He believes leaders should work for us — lifting people up and building bridges, not tearing us apart. Our communities work best when everyone is represented, not just a select few.
Growing up in Midway, Ian didn't always see people who looked like him reflected in leadership. It's why "Y'all means All" isn't a slogan; it's the standard he holds himself to on council: every resident gets the same access, the same respect, and the same seat at the table, regardless of who they are or where they come from.
He's running to get things done. Midway deserves strong leadership willing to build coalitions, listen to all stakeholders, and put Midway at the forefront of conversations — proactive, not reactive, on issues like infrastructure, economic growth, and development.
It's always been about the people.
